Grace Hospital long term acute care Cleveland Ohio

Our Programs: Inpatient Wound Care Cleveland

Patients with serious wounds at Grace Hospital's LTAC wound care program in Cleveland have multiple medical needs, including underlying prolonged illnesses, nutritional deficits, and conditions such as diabetes. Our licensed wound independent practitioner is onsite three days per week to support complex inpatient wound healing.

Unlike outpatient wound centers, Grace Hospital provides inpatient complex wound care for Stage III/IV wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, and non-healing wounds requiring hospital-level monitoring and wound vac therapy.

Patients with needs including:

  • Stage III and Stage IV wounds
  • Surgical debridements
  • Specialized treatment modalities
  • Wound vac therapy
  • Diabetic ulcers and pressure injuries

What types of wounds does Grace Hospital treat?

Grace Hospital treats Stage III/IV wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, and complex non-healing wounds requiring inpatient LTAC care, wound vac therapy, and debridement in Cleveland.

How is inpatient LTAC wound care different from outpatient wound centers?

Inpatient wound care at an LTAC serves patients who are too medically complex for outpatient wound clinics—those needing daily physician oversight, IV therapy, ventilator support, or extended hospital-level monitoring during wound healing.
